The customers and staff of local skip hire company Rabbit Skips have donated £1620 to Chestnut Tree House. The money was raised during two trips to Goodwood Races arranged by Rabbit.
Mandy Bridson, joint owner of Rabbit Group explains, ‘We ran two evening excursions to Goodwood recently taking customers and staff on our open top double decker bus. The good weather and exciting racing lead to two great trips and we decided to hold collections for Chestnut Tree House when everyone’s pockets were full of winnings! We had a really good time and I would like to thank our staff and customers for their generousity.’
Receiving the cheque on behalf of Chestnut Tree House, Terrina Barnes said, ‘We are so grateful to Rabbit and all their employees for their fantastic support and their very generous donation to Chestnut Tree House children’s hospice. Our hospice relies heavily on the support of local companies such as Rabbit to help us raise the vital funds we need to operate. What a great idea the excursions are and it is brilliant to see their employees ‘get on board’ and get involved with Chestnut Tree House’.
